Our mission at Vanda is to provide our clients with actionable, responsive and differentiated market insights. With that in mind, I want to update you with some exciting developments at the firm.
New Product
We have successfully expanded our product offering over the last 2 years and we are excited with the launch last Friday of our newest report, the FICC Tactical Strategy. Authored by our Senior Strategist Mr Viraj Patel the FICC Tactical Strategy will provide a weekly deep dive into key macro, geopolitical and positioning-related themes driving global FICC markets with the aim of generating and monitoring Vanda’s high conviction tactical trades. Do keep an eye out for this report each Friday and we welcome all feedback on the product.
New Hires
Within our expanding research team, we have hired Mr Andreas Osterheden as Senior Strategist who will be based in our new Copenhagen offices. Andreas was most recently CIO of Nordea where he was responsible for Nordea’s tactical investment advice and he will be responsible for building out Vanda’s Tactical Asset Allocation offering.
We have also recently expanded our distribution capabilities in Asia Pacific with the addition of my former colleague Mr Mark Trevena who joins us from BCA Research as Head of Sales for APAC, based in Sydney.
Vanda Advisory Board
I am pleased to announce the formation of the Vanda Advisory Board. This Board will provide the firm with invaluable input on our product and commercial opportunities, elevating Vanda’s presence in the market. I am extremely excited to announce the following 3 individuals who have agreed to join the Advisory Board:
Diane Alfano – who was the driving force behind the Institutional Investor (II) brand for 37 years. Diane transformed a financial print publication into a dynamic and diversified global business incorporating market intelligence, events, data and capital placement.
Xen Gladstone – who most recently was Head of Broking at CLSA and during his 25-year career in Asia was an MD at JP Morgan running equity sales and held positions at ING Barings and Invesco.
Simon Anam – who has over 20 years’ experience in market-leading financial information and business service companies. Simon was most recently part of the management team at Acuris and brings commercial experience across data and subscriptions.
With the help of our newly appointed Advisory Board members, new colleagues, and products we are excited about the future of Vanda.
