Vanda Research launches data service that tracks daily US retail flow.
Vanda Research, the global independent tactical macro specialists, today announces the launch of its daily retail flow platform, VandaTrack.
VandaTrack uses a proprietary algorithm to identify the daily US$ notional buying of all US listed stocks and ETFs by retail investors. Designed for institutional investors, VandaTrack provides daily data on retail investors net purchases through leaderboards, flow charts and downloadable data.
The data allows investors to identify trending retail ownership, analyze behavioural patterns, and identify stocks and sectors that may have already benefited from exuberant retail activity.
“We are excited to bring VandaTrack to the market after using the data internally for a number of months” said Angus Hume, CEO of Vanda Research. “Since 2012, Vanda have been pioneers in investor positioning and flow, and with the rising importance of the retail cohort on equity markets it was a natural extension of our coverage to track their flow. Having the daily data on retails net purchases at your fingertips through our online platform or delivered through an API will be essential for clients trading US equity instruments.”
